We are excited to offer the Lakou New York Children's 1K Walk/Run as a part of the Jacmel Riverbank Races!

The event will allow local children to participate in a short walk or run along the beautifully-tiled boardwalk of Jacmel Bay.

All participants will receive a complimentary Run Haiti gift (*must register in advance).

Event details and schedule

The event will be held on Friday, March 10th, at 5:00pm. The race starts and ends at Lakou New York on Jacmel Bay.

Packet Pick-Up is available:

•   Thursday, March 9th, 6pm-8pm at Hotel Florita

•   Friday, March 10th, 3pm-5pm just prior to the race

•   Note: Arrangements can be made to drop off of pick up race packets in addition to these times. Email us at runhaiti@gmail.com

There are many options in Jacmel for comfortable Lodging during race weekend. We recommend Hotel Cyvadier Plage, although we can help arrange for lodging in other locations.

Please note the following information: This event is untimed and for fun only. There is no prize money. In order to receive a complimentary Run Haiti gift, participants must be registered prior to the start of the event. Participants are encouraged to wear their bib number during the event to help us identify walkers/runners. There is a registration limit of 100 participants - NO EXCEPTIONS.
